Travel Tips
Conference venue
The University of Arizona Department of Mathematics is located in the Math building. The Southwest Strings meeting will take place in MATH 501
Parking: If you're staying at the Marriott, it's probably easiest to park there. The Math building is within walking distance. If you want to park on campus, the closest garage is Sixth Street Garage. Parking is $8 on Friday and free on Saturday.

Accommodation
We blocked rooms at the Tucson Marriott University Park. The hotel is within walking distance of the venue, and right next to the restaurants and bars of University Boulevard. Use this link to book one of the rooms by February 23.

Transportation
There are two options for flying to Tucson:
-
The first option is to fly into Tucson International Airport (TUS), and then take a 15 minute Lyft or taxi ride to UA campus.
-
The second option is to fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX), and then book an airport shuttle to Tucson. Phoenix has many more flights than Tucson, but the drive to Tucson is about 2 hours, depending on traffic.

Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will take place in the Marriott hotel. The bar will open at 6pm, and the buffet will open at 6:30pm
