Travel Tips

Conference venue
The UT-Austin Department of Physics is  located in Robert Lee Moore Hall (known as "RLM"). A seventeen story 1970s monolith, RLM is at the southeast corner of Speedway and Dean Keeton (a.k.a. 26th) Street. The Southwest Holography meeting will take place in RLM 9.222
 
For maps, please see the UT Campus Maps page. If you are driving the parking garages on San Jacinto, Speedway, or 27th Streets are within a few blocks of RLM.

Transportation

When flying in you will arrive at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA). The airport posts a list of all ground transportation options.

​

Cab rides between the airport and the UT campus area cost approximately $35 to $40.

To get to the Bed & Breakfast locations from ABIA, take Airport Blvd to Martin Luther King Dr., then San Antonio to 22nd St.
